As you know, at Gemlaunch we take the safety of our investors very seriously. We hate scams and rugpulls, which is why we’ve built many features and tools for you to be able to make informed decisions as to whether a presale is worth investing in or not.
Scrolling through the list of current and past presales, you might have noticed that several projects have a KYC badge next to their names. This brief article is designed to explain what that means and what it entails for all stakeholders.
KYC Explained
At Gemlaunch, Know Your Customer, or KYC is the process of identity verification to ascertain that the person speaking to us is really who she/he says they are. How does it work? The identities of the project owner is determined by submitting ID documentation (Passport, National ID) to an automated platform. This is similar to the KYC process needed when opening up a trading account on a major exchange like Binance, for example.
What Does it Mean for You?

We will reveal their identities.
We will make this information public for those wanting to file criminal charges.
To investors: If you have serious reservations about a project, and you have proofs that the project is a scam, please contact us ASAP, supplying as much evidence as possible. We will go through the claim and let you know the result of our investigation.
To project owners: If you want investors to trust you, we highly recommend that you approach our KYC Manager on Telegram and apply for KYC verification. This will bring legitimacy to your project. KYC may take 24 - 48 hours so please contact us asap.

Doxx Badge
The Doxx badge is the latest Add-on to Gemlaunch and is aimed at encouraging Project Owners put their identity behind their project. By doing this, it allows for greater verification and is another step forward in the KYC journey, but additionally, it also aids in security for investors.

Send your YouTube video to Gemlaunch via your private support group

By means of this post, we provide you with all instructions and requirements to obtain a successful KYC. If you do not agree please do not send payment. By going ahead with payment of KYC processing fee you agree that you shall not be entitled to a refund under any circumstance.
In particular, we wish to make clear that you are required to be honest with us at all times, and use your real documents, your real legal name, and your real role in the project. Failure to do so will result in the immediate cancellation of your KYC, with no refund given.

For Investors: The KYC badge helps reduce scams and rug pulls by acting as a deterrent for dishonest developers. If a KYC-verified project engages in fraud:
We will disclose the identities of the project’s team members.
We will make this information available for anyone wishing to pursue legal action.
To Report Suspected Fraud: If you have substantial evidence that a project is a scam, please contact us immediately with as much supporting information as possible. We will investigate thoroughly and keep you informed of the results.
For Project Owners: If you want to build investor trust, we strongly recommend that you contact our KYC Manager on Telegram to apply for KYC verification. The process typically takes 24–48 hours, so please reach out as early as possible.
Doxx Badge
The Doxx badge is an additional feature at Gemlaunch, encouraging project owners to publicly stand behind their projects. This step goes beyond KYC, providing investors with an added layer of security and trust.
To receive the Doxx badge:
Complete KYC with Gemlaunch.
Upload a video AMA to YouTube, sharing it with your community (via Telegram and/or Discord). The video must remain public, showing the community link and including live Q&A. Example AMA Video.
Send your YouTube video link to Gemlaunch via your private support group.
Our staff will verify both the KYC and AMA video. Upon successful verification, your project will receive the Doxx badge. Best of all, the Doxx badge is free.

Refund Policy
